KRYSTHLA was formed in 2012 in Northamptonshire UK from the ashes of underground stalwarts GUTWORM and DEADEYE.

 

With nearly 30 years of combined touring experience and previous appearances at US festivals NOVEMBER TO DISMEMBER 01 MARCH METAL MELTDOWN 02 and HELLFEST 07 under their belt the newly forged KRYSTHLA effortlessly carved a path of brutality within the UK scene with their own brand of extreme metal touring the country with headline shows and supporting acts such as MEMORIUM TEXTURES and NAPALM DEATH.

 

The call for the band to take their first steps overseas came in 2016 with European tours with death metal legends DECAPITATED and later in 2018 with metal gods VADER and OBITUARY. In 2016 the band were also invited to play THE SOPHIE LANCASTER STAGE at BLOODSTOCK FESTIAL and again in 2019 being gifted the honour of opening the coveted slot of THE RONNIE JAMES DIO MAIN STAGE on the Saturday with acts such as PARKWAY DRIVE THY ART IS MURDER ANTHRAX and DIMMU BORGIR.

The band released their first three albums A WAR OF SOULS AND DESIRES in September 2015, PEACE IN OUR TIME April 2017 and WORLDWIDE NEGATIVE on 16th August 2019. All three albums made the top 10 AMAZON metal charts with WORLDWIDE NEGATIVE hitting the no2 spot behind SLIPKNOT.

With the upcoming release of the bands 4th album THE RIVER, KRYSTHLA have embarked on a far more technical and aggressive sound while retaining their trademark speed, groove and unique grasp of melody that makes KRYSTHLA standout act on any line up or festival.
